Reception/Office Manager

Barb has worked for Cumberland Animal Clinic since 2000 and is a graduate of St. Pete Jr. College with a degree in Animal Science Technology. Her family includes a son Kyle, 2 cats- Linus and Mr. Bean, and a dressage horse named Yankee. Barb's interests include horseback riding, gardening, quilting, bicycling, reading and traveling.


Advanced Veterinary Technician, Lead Veterinarian Technician

Alex joined Cumberland Animal Clinic as a veterinary technician in 2017. He is originally from Skipperville Alabama, He moved to the Tallahassee area in 2015. He has over 10 years of experience in the veterinary field. Alex has two dogs, Angus and Boone and a cat named Honey Badger. When he isn’t at work he enjoys spending time outdoors, kayaking and riding ATVs.


Veterinary Technician

Caeley joined the CAC staff in February of 2018 working as a vet tech. She is originally from Ocala Florida but moved to Tallahassee in Fall of 2017. She has recently graduated from Florida State University with her bachelors in biology with a minor in chemistry. She hopes to attend Veterinary school this fall. In her spare time, she loves taking her dog Gunner to the lake, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family.


Kennel Technician

Christen is originally from Bainbridge, GA, but currently lives in Tallahassee. She has previous kennel tech experience from 2 different boarding kennels. Christen is happily married and does not have children. She has a ball python named Jacques and a blizzard corn snake named Blaine. Christen loves nature and art and in her free time enjoys gardening, horseback riding, drawing, hiking, camping, and playing PC games.



Ashley joined the Cumberland family in June of 2019 as a receptionist. She is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but moved to Tallahassee in 2015. Ashley has worked with animals for over 15 years. She also has a beautiful 9-year old daughter named Haylee. In her down time she enjoys volunteering and hanging out with her family.


Advanced Veterinary Technician

Michelle has been working with animal since she was 15 years old, following in her older sisters footsteps. She started at the humane society of Broward county then went on to work for VCA Stirling animal hospital in Hollywood Florida for 10 years. She is a mother of 3 boys, 7 furry friends and 2 reptiles. She enjoys spending her time off outdoors, helping others and spending time with her sons.


Veterinary Technician

Stacey's love for helping animals started at a young age. She started volunteering with a large animal vet in her home town of Keystone Heights in middle school and worked her way up to a vet tech. She is currently taking courses to become a certified veterinary technician. In her spare time her favorite thing to do is be in the outdoors with her dogs or on the boat with friends.


Veterinary Technician

Jessie is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She joined our team in 2019 and works as a vet tech. She has 2 dogs, an English Shepherd named Huckleberry Finn and a Pit bull named Fredo. A horse named Lacey rounds out her 4 legged family. Jessie has over 6 years of veterinary technician experience, including emergency medicine. While she's not working, she enjoys playing the guitar, carpentry and painting.
