Michelle
Lead Veterinary Technician
Michelle is born and raised in Broward Florida, she started at Humane society of Broward at the age of 15yo along with her big sister. She then went to work for VCA Stirling Square road Animal Hospital a few years after. She worked there for 10 years as one of the head technicians. She moved to Tallassee back in 2018 with her 3 boys and partner. She comes with 13 years of animal care back around. She now resides in Greenville Florida along with her family and gang of furry friends. She spends her days caring for her many animals Dogs to chickens and lizard and can’t forget her cats! She is found doing home project with her kids.
Savannah
Veterinary Technician
Meet Savannah! She grew up in Tallahassee, FL right down the road from Cumberland. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Berry College in Animal Science and Chemistry and is currently working on a Master’s Certificate in Shelter Medicine at the University of Florida. Savannah is one of our veterinary technicians. Pictured with Savannah are her two dogs, Mars (left) and Ally (right). Mars was a stray, brought into Cumberland with an embedded collar. Sweet Ally was rescued a few years ago from Jefferson County by Savannah and her family. Not pictured is her beta fish Marshal Tucker. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs, traveling, and cooking.

Veterinary Technician Assistant
Hi, I am Kelly I have loved animals my whole life. I am currently pursuing a degree in animal science, and pre-vet. My hobbies are horseback riding, playing with my dog.
I have a two-year-old Australian shepherd, named Beretta that I love to teach tricks to.
Sorana
Veterinary Technician
Sorana is one of our technicians. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sorana started her Veterinary journey as a bather when she was 16 years old. She is currently attending Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU). She is majoring in animal science to pursue her dream of becoming a Veterinarian. She has two fur babies that play a major role in her life. Sorana has plans to own her own small animal practice one day. Her smile radiates through the clinic as well as it does to our clients. Her goal is to provide exceptional/quality care for all the furry friends she comes into contact with.
Jenny
Kennel Technician
Jenny is one of our kennel technicians here at CAC and is a Havana native. She obtained her BA in studio art at FSU. She contributes artwork to local causes when she can. She has been working with animals for over 20 years and has grooming experience as well. On Jenny's off time she spends time with her pets which are all rescues, 6 cats and one precious tripod yorkie (Melody). Jenny says that her only enjoyment in life is brushing Melody's long coat.
Crystal
Reception
Crystal was born and raised in Kentucky. She grew up on a farm and loves animals. She attended 2 yrs at Brown Mackie College for her Associate Degree in Accounting. She came to Florida 2 years ago to care for her mother. She is a very caring Receptionist here at Cumberland. When she isn't working she loves being outside with her dog Leo.
Derrick
Veterinary Technician
Derrick has been a vet tech for 3 years. In his spare time, he likes to fish and run with his two beloved Pitty babies, Butch and Simba. His passion is helping the fur babies who make up the Cumberland family alongside his awesome co-workers.
